Clozr is configured, not just used. Your pipeline stages, lead sources, lost reasons, task statuses, ticket statuses, project statuses and note types are all yours to name and order — and you can add your own custom fields to leads and products. Rename "Won" to "Booked" and every report keeps working.

In detail. Permissions answer two separate questions — what a person may do, and which records they may do it to. You can give someone the ability to read and export leads but not create or delete them, and limit that to only their own records, their team's, or everyone reporting to them. Managers inherit visibility of their whole reporting chain automatically.
